Seeking Glory

Novels bring about stories of sorrow, longing, loss, and heartbreak, but it also narrates about hope, love, and recovery. Such experiences are not new to Patricia Hamilton Shook, who has spent her entire adult life as a psychologist and is now an author of an award-winning book called Seeking Glory.

Her debut novel has been heralded since it was published in 2018, and it talks about the complexities of family relationships, past traumas, loss, longing, and of course, hope and recovery. She perfectly weaves her experiences as a psychologist and personal life into a masterfully written work of fiction about a woman who suddenly finds herself in a situation that she never thought she would find herself in.
